Hydrotherapy involves specific individual exercises in water/pool that is heated to approximately 34ºC. The heat of the water, the buoyancy and the hydrodynamic principals of water are used to help improve flexibility of joints, increase strength in weak muscles, improve balance, and improve general endurance and well being.
At an individual one on one session we devise a Hydrotherapy exercise program specific for your needs, to maximize your recovery and return you as quickly as possible to work, sport or hobbies.
Hydrotherapy can be appropriate for people of all ages and is especially helpful for post surgical treatment of the knee/hip/low back and shoulders.
