Jo is an experienced Physiotherapist who graduated from Melbourne University in 1999, where she also gained her Bachelor of Science. Jo was a Locum at Somerville in 2004, before travelling overseas and interstate. She returned to Victoria and Somerville in 2006, rejoining the clinic on a full time basis.
Jo has extensive experience in the treatment of muscle and joint problems and has further skills in a number of Specialized fields. She is qualified to use dry needling (acupuncture into tight/sore muscles) and has a special interest in Woman’s Health – helping woman deal with physical problems during pregnancy and assisting mums to recover their health after childbirth.
Jo’s most specialized skills lay in the field of Vestibular Rehabilitation. She treats symptoms of dizziness, vertigo and balance disorders that stem from dysfunction of the inner ear. |
